Tana Systems Lab: Thread & File Management

As agent workflows get more useful, the bottleneck stops being raw capability and starts being management. Not just how your Tana system serves as input and output for the agent, but how the agent threads, files, and folders on your desktop can be organized and archived inside Tana.

We’ll focus on:

  • categorizing and tracking active agent threads in Tana
  • building a workable pattern for managing thread inputs, outputs, and archive state
  • linking local files and folders into Tana so threads and project materials live in one place

The goal is to move beyond flat chat histories and scattered local files and folders, and bring both into the organized Tana structure you already use for the rest of your knowledge work.
